Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè is buildings are speckled and packed arround narrow paverstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The would-be-castle fortifications have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Even the most brief look arround Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè has a good chance of putting a church or shrine into the center of your view. The town is most certainly a god fearing community. It’s also definitely a god loving community. THe streetcornors are occupied by preachers, with the occasional intersection playing host to an actually friendly debate relating to the merits of various gods. Even the less popular as well as the less politically loved gods seem to have a space in Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè, there’s even shrines to gods known to the region only through hearsay.

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè lost 280 people, 260 livestock, and 53 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 91, when members of Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè's militia enacted an operation to eliminate a specific group of the enemy's forces. The operation was complicated by the army being put into a position where they could only choose between two terrible options. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in a crushing defeat for Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Vîbo-g̈êmê Dêtîkè's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
